We visited three families while we were in Australia and the Waters family in Melbourne were the last ones. A sweet family that we just adored.

We enjoyed the wildlife park that we visited in Australia and I am having so much fun remembering our time there as I scrap those animals. The echidna's were so funny looking with their needle type nose!

The Dog Whisperer

When we were in Australia, one of our missionaries, Phil Waters, had the most beautiful dog named Buddy. Pastor Jackson is not a dog person, but Buddy took a liking to him and it was so funny to watch. If truth be told, I think Pastor took a liking to Buddy too!

Recipe for yummy chicken

Jenn, a fellow scrapper, shared this recipe. It looks good and I am giving it a try for this Sunday's dinner.

Sam's Fire Station Chicken:
4 lb of chicken
1 bottle smokey bbq sauce
1 16 oz can of pineapple, undrained
2 c coarse chopped onions
2 c chopped bell peppers
1 seeded & chopped jalapeno pepper

Place in the crock pot bring to boil on med heat. Turn heat to med low and cook 1 hour until chicken is no longer pink.

Red, White and Blue

I pulled out all of my red, white, and blue papers and embellishments and had a patriotic scrapping session last night!!

Sunshine

We had a glorious weekend filled with sunshine and friends to help celebrate the fourth. I did get in a little bit of scrappy time. These pages are of my daughter's friends little girl.

Old Baldy

The lighthouse on Bald Head Island is known as "Old Baldy". We are enjoying visiting the different lighthouses in North Carolina this summer. Since we used most of our vacation time in April visiting Australia, seeing lighthouses on Saturdays during the summer makes it seem like we are still having some vacation time!
