Here we grow from month to month

We thought it would be a fun idea to take a picture of Chandler each month to document the first year.  It was really hard to get him to sit still as he got older!!  I didn't use a whole lot of embellishments on this page outside of what came on the Jillibean Soup placemat frames.  I did tuck some colored cardstock behind the cutout words.  I wanted the focus to be on the pictures.

How many clicks does it take?

One of my favorite scrappy designers is Aphra Bolyer who has been on several design teams.  She did THIS amazing page about a year ago for the Cricut Circle magazine and I just had to lift it.  It's been on my mind for awhile.  I changed it up for the cartridges that I had, and to suit my pictures, but it is still based on her page.  I think it is her sense of humor that is apparant on her pages that I admire so much if truth be told!! LOL

I have made a step card.  The tree is from the Cricut "Winter Frolic" cartridge, and the font is from the Cricut "When I was a Kid" cartridge.  The picture mat is a 3 X 4.  I hope you enjoy!

Chandler loved having a piggy back ride, but the more I screamed from him pulling my hair, the more he laughed.  It was a sweet baby belly laugh!!

Birthday in the Park

Sweet grandson with his mom and dad at his birthday party that they held in a local park.  It was perfect with swings and playground equipment for the kiddos and a large grill for cooking!
