Fun crop this weekend!

It was a great three day weekend spent with friends.  We had a couple from Ashboro come in and spend the night on Friday, and we were able to gather some girlfriends together for a girls breakfast on Saturday morning.  The rest of the day, I spent at the crop at our church and it was so much fun.  The girls are just good company:)  Saturday evening we went to a party for friends who celebrated 50 years of married life.  It was really special.  Here are a couple pages that I recently completed.

1(one) Amazing Sunrise

One of the best things about vacation this year was time spent alone with Heather in the final weeks before she becomes a first time mom.  This page shows the incredible sunrises we shared as we walked the beach each morning.

A scrappy weekend!

With Gary having that awful stomach virus this past weekend, we literally stayed in ALL weekend.  His fever made him sleep, and I took advantage of that time to scrap.  I got lots of layouts done but can't share them all just yet.  Here's a few.  Remember that you can click on the picture for a larger view!

Walk like an Egyptian!

My favorite spot that we visited on vacation was Jockey's Ridge State Park.  The sand dunes were incredible and we walked all over them.  It made us feel like we were in the desert.  They say they were created by either a hurricane or several nor'easter's.  It's funny to see that much sand inland.  I know it must seem like I poke fun at Gary all the time in my layouts, but he really is a funny person, and although I love him dearly, he asks for it!!

Vacation and a couple layouts

I've been on vacation and haven't had a chance to scrap much.  I finished this one up before I left
and this one when I returned on Saturday

We had the best time and I took a gazillion photos with this one being one of my faves

Can't hardly wait to scrap it!!

Underground Musicians

While we were running around London, we used the Underground quite a bit.  Although we were usually rushing to get to and from somewhere, I loved spotting a musician here and there playing his instruments for tips that people would put either in a cup in front of him, or in the case of his instrument.  The first picture was slightly blurry because I was taking it quickly so as not to fall behind my group, but I was amazed that it was a harp!!  It sounded fantastic too!!  I used American Crafts Neopolitan Dear Lizzy papers.
